Alberto Gonzales announced today that he will step down as United States Attorney General in September. President Bush said it was because of months of mistreatment. I didn't realize that holding PUBLIC servants accountable was mistreatment.
Of course, someone much worse could be appointed, Robert Gates has seemed a more competent SecofDef than Rummy was.
